"I was very saddened and concerned to learn from 

Abu Dhabi of the Chung Ling High School dragon

boat tragedy yesterday that claimed the young lives

of five students and a teacher.

I would like to extend my most sincere condolences

to family members, friends, the school community

and indeed all others affected by the incident.

I would also like to commend those who rescued

several of the stricken rowers. I pray for their quick

recovery."
